Thread: What do you think of my new biz cards!

i really like the bottom pic, but i feel like cutting up the background is a little off. it would be better if you cut yourself out of the background and then put the pictures back on the card.... just my thoughts :o)

I love both pictures of you, but having the same costume & background for both of them, seems a bit samey, and a waste of the second opportunity for a photo. You could photoshop a different background for one of them, or better still, use some of the others from a different photoshoot with a different costume. We know you got some great shots recently, you should use them!

I'm kinda of toying with the idea of having two separate cards. One that highlights my glam/movie-star side and one that looks young, fresh and approachable. I am really marketing to two different audiences so I was thinking two cards, but maybe somehow I can make one card and blend both aspects.

Option 2:

Honestly, the pic on the front of the 1st layout seems like an awkward angle (to me). You have a great smile but can't see it well in that pic. What about using the first layout but on the front instead of that side picture of you, use one of the two pics from the 2nd layout instead, but leave the one of you on the back w/the veil (I really like that one)? Then it'd show you in two different costumes, as well as two different settings?

I prefer option 2 as well. Just like that layout and text.

I prefer option 2. The vertical layout with you in the pink dress is my favorite out of all 4 "sides" of the cards. Its clean, attractive & very eye catching. You look amazing, your expression, makeup, hair, costume--its a total package. You've done amazing things with all of the feedback on hair & make-up from a few months ago! Its incredible {{{squee!}}} The second side of option 2 is little busy for my taste. I think the pink may be too pink--how would it look it the background was turquoise & the squiggly curly-Qs were pink? I think I feel this way because your costume is blue & the background in the picture is black and the contrast against the cards background seems like too many things going on at once. I LOVE the "Andalee" with all the curly-Qs on the front side. Very contemporary & fun.

I do not care for either of the sides on option 1. The concept is fresh, youthful, and approachable. The execution falls short, IMO. The first picture is too shadowy. The best parts of your features are hidden & the sun is not lighting you up, its casting shadows across you. The second side you look like you're scrunching under and away from your veil.

WOAH! Just saw your New Pictures post in Fitness & Beauty thread. IMO the "armpit sniffing" picture & the looking over your shoulder veil picture would be perfect for the outdoor biz card option. I love both of those pictures.

I love the second batch. Very vibrant, and it would really stand out.

I love the pink and the blue, and the photos are gorgeous. Very lovely.

I love the pink dress and the pic in the first option with the blue veil. Both have color combos that are really eye catching and show two different "looks."

OK, maybe that's way oversimplified, but in this biz, va-va-voom glamour trumps girl-next-door, any day. Your second card achieves just that and shows off your beautiful Old Hollywood diva look in SUCH a great way. Another vote for #2. Nice work!

#2 definitely! You are so cute, you are already fresh-faced and approachable :) But you look more professional in the 2nd set. I would also consider spelling "joy" with a "J" instead.
