What's On Your FAQ Page?
Please bear with all of my website content inquiries! I'm "going public" soon.
For those of you who have a FAQ section, I have two questions:
1. Where on your site do you include this section? Do you have a separate page? A subsection of your Booking Info page? Or is it an article that you link to from your Booking Info page? I'm thinking of writing a couple of consumer-level articles (on rates, hiring a good dancer, etc.) so I think I'll put my FAQ's with the other articles.
2. What are the top customer inquiries you address in this section?
So far, this is what I've got:
What can I expect to see during a typical show?
Small children will be present at my event. Is BD age appropriate?
How far in advance should I book you?
Do you bring your own music?
What do you need from me on the day of the event?
What is the purpose of your Performer's Contract?
What type of costumes do you wear?
Is tipping acceptable?
What happens if I need to cancel?
The dancer down the street says she'll do it for free. Why are your rates so much higher?
What would you add to my existing list?

Re: What's On Your FAQ Page?
Now that I have my own URL, I am planning on adding an FAQs section as well. For now I am lazy and I link my booking page to two articles on Shem's Web site:
Event Booking Belly Dance Entertainment - Shems - Professional Belly Dancer serving Washington DC & Baltimore
Behind the Rates - Why Belly Dancers Charge What They Do by Shems
I noticed she has an FAQ section too. Off to read it now.
Satin, don't worry about your Web-happy postings. It is benefiting me as I am going through the same process currently! :o) Besides, I love talking shop.

Re: What's On Your FAQ Page?
Razia's site has categories for her FAQs. That way she can answer questions about her classes, hiring her for performances, questions about her own background, and general questions about the dance. I think it's nice to have it broken into different categories. Check out Razia's Website

Re: What's On Your FAQ Page?
I have a separate page. It makes things easier. I am thinking that I need to link my Performance FAQ page to my Services page. Because, although the menu is pretty simple, it's always better to give people too many routes to get somewhere than not enough.

Oh, my tone is a tad bit arrogant. But hey, I'm THE BELLY DANCER! why are you asking me these questions anyway? ;-)
