Thread: Need critique on new Web page layout

Hello, Here is the first draft of my Web site. I am desiging it in Photoshop and then my partner will cut it up and make a CSS and template. Let me know what you think. Be honest. I want this to be the best.





Don't pay attention to text, most of it is just place holders. Think about design and usability.

I think it's a very lovely layout. I love that top corner picture. I like that you are being consistant with the fonts you are using on your business cards and your site.

I love the colour scheme!

I just finished making my own webpage. I love yours! It seems very user friendly. I also really like the color combo of purple and the blue in your dress. I also really like how the picture of you was taken from above. It's all very professional looking and as far as design, I wouldn't change anything. I like the curtain look too. I didn't know that about your name either and it makes you seem even more exotic (in a good way).

I know you said not to pay attention to the text, but I couldn't help but point out two errors I saw. In the second sentence of the first page, it should say: sure TO charm. I think you are missing the one word there. I'm pretty sure that when you use the word "and" you do not need a comma in front of it (third paragraph).

Again, I know you said not to pay attention to it, but I had a few errors on my page at first that I noticed a week after it was up and I would have been happy if someone that I asked to review it would have caught it.

You page idea really looks fabulous!

Thanks, It's wrong on my current Web site, so I fixed it. How embarrassing!

Oh good. I'm glad I said something then. Same thing happened to me and I was embarrassed too. I just hoped nobody caught it before I fixed them!
