Thread: tip spinoff - who do you tip?

ok, so we've recently been back at the topic of our tips. got me thinking...
who do you tip out at the end of a show.
(excluding issues of house & band splits)

when things were good, and people were tipping properly i tipped

• the guy who carried my bags in and out of the club (especially @ al andalous in l.a. that had the steep staircase entrance)
• the busboy / waitress /waiter / maitre de who put my props on stage
• valet if there was one
• eta: tip collector - if is one. (of course! forgot to mention)

last night tips were "normal" so i was able to tip the waitress who put my zills and cane on stage before my entrance

what about you?

I've tipped the band and I've tipped the waiter/waitress who was nice enough to collect my tips off the floor and bring them to me.

yes if my tips are good enough, I tip the person collected my tips from the floor (one restaurant does this), band, waitress brings me drink or food if I am in the restaurant that gives free food/drink.
I also give % if I have really good tips (I am thinking like over $100) to a person booked me maybe like manager of a band or someone hired me unless it is a company, they take their share already.
