Thread: Cost of Paid PartyPop Listing

Can't seem to find any pricing info on the website. How much did you guys pay for yours?

I paid $180/year for the last 3 years and I think it's been worth it for the web visibility.

Same here - if I get two gigs out of it (which I more than surpass) I make a profit on the investment.

right now they're offering 13 months for $180. guess they're hurting too.

With your new website (if you get it ranked on search engines) you might not need to be listed there?
I started my website and did not link it to partypop just to see who was coming from each. I didn't get many responses this year from partypop so didn't re up. My website seems to be sending me all the traffic I need. Of course I am in a very small market so maybe that would make a big differance.

Being in a premium spot on PartyPop definitely can't hurt my search ranking, plus they're the first thing that pops up under most keywords for BDers in my area. This might help while I wait forever for my organic ranking to develop ,r:;

You won't have to wait forever. You can create your meta tags that tell robots how often to crawl your site. Also, I still recommend Google Web Master Tools.

I just did a search for "Belly Dance Durham." Here is where my site came up on page one:
#1 Local business results (ie Google Maps)
Decidio.com
Mypartyplanner.com

My actual Web site was on the second page. I've had my new URL for two months now.

Wow, that's impressive, Andalee. And inspiring. It sounds like you used meta tags when you did your website.

I'm checking my stats on Google Analytics every day. Having way too much fun with it!
