Thread: What info do you put on receipts?

I have a client who'd like a receipt. No problem, I made something up. However while my stage name is part of my dba name, the stage name itself/alone isn't registered. Should I show it on the invoice as MyReal Name dba Bellydance with Ruya? Or just Bellydance with Ruya? Real name dba Biz Name + stage name? Curious WWBD?

I just use my DBA name - the agreement is between the client and my company (Galatea Middle Eastern Dance), so I see no reason to include any individual names on a receipt or invoice.

The only exception I make is when I sign my own contracts, because I feel that I should use my legal name when it comes to putting my signature on a legal document.
