My new website design :Selinas biografi & dansbakgrund. Läs om hur hon förälskade sig i den orientaliska musiken och dansen och genom danskurser, dansresor och uppträdande utvecklades till en professionell magdansös och dansinstruktör.

I have just one suggestion, your cover photograph (though very lovely) is obscuring your face and you have a lovely face. Is there another photo you could use there?

Looks very nice. I agree with Tanya about the cover photo though. You have a pretty face, show it.

Actually I have been wanting that but my own english is not good enough for translating and i havnt found anyone for the job =( But its a really good idea!

Thanks, my friend said the same. I dont have picture showing my face much that will fit there well yet but definatly something to think about for my next photoshoot.

And also I wanted to ask u guys (with my bad english). Do you think i should make the pages longer so people dont have to scroll in the box and so that the pics dont get "cut off". I love the box design but maybe its more nice looking with a "normal" longer page design for the pics?

Very nice. I do get tired of scrolling on sites but if it's something I really want to read I will do it.

If you don't want people to scroll or the pictures being cut off by the box, I'd recommend shortening your content instead of changing the box. For example, your biography contains detailed information on several of your teachers and performances. Shorten the biography text to why you are dancing, who your teachers were and name a couple of former performances in a list. Add a link to a page that contains more information on your dancetraining (like a CV) and add a link to a more detailed description of previous performances.

I was also looking for the lace where you perform/teach and the country, but couldn't find it at first glance.

Congrats on the nice website! I especially like the calendar idea. I can't really figure out much because of the language barrier, but it could also be useful to filter your calendar by target group - "for booking" and "for studies" mainly... Just an idea...

Why not take your best shot at writing the site in English, then post here to ask for critique. Your English seems pretty good to me.

I had less text before but the box still cuts the pictures and the calender and they dont look nice if I make them smaller so thats mostly why I was asking. But Its a smart idea with a CV coz Im planning write down all instructors I had and It will jst be allot of names in a bunch taking space. So When I will do that I will make it how you wrote. And omg ur right my country isnt even on there, thanks for thinking outside my box haha.

I made the design my self but the calender part I asked a professional to make for me. Did you mean that I should have 2 seperate calenders or that I should have a text over every event saying if its studies or shows?

I like the front photo. There's already lots of pretty faces on lots of pretty web sites. Your front photo is unique because it shows you moving and moving passionately, which is probably what the customer is hoping to hire. IMO.

I wouldn't change a thing - I think it's perfect! And your costumes are beautiful!!

I love it! I was able to read it because Google translated it in English with just one click. I liked reading your biography and about who you studied under. I love the colors, also love the photo you have on the home page. I do however really like the profile photo you have in the gallery where you are wearing blue, the 8th photo down. I think you should use that somewhere, unless you already use it on your business cards. I like it because it shows your beautiful sweet face. Good job!! Very clean and professional and easy to navigate through.

Bellydancewear: Thanks for ur kind words! I also started to translate with google for the english version of the site but i had to do some minor changes (like google translated "She fell inlove with the dance as a child" to "she fell inlove with children", not quite right...
I cant decide if I like that picture of my face, its just sooo close, zooom zooom hehe, but thanks maybe a good pic for my buisness cards.

I changed the boxes so that they are bigger and dont cut allphotos and only some of the calendar.
Still working on the english version.
What do u guys who saw it before think about the changes?

I don't remember the boxes, but still love the site! Google can translate it into 40+ different languages. Maybe I am used to translations, but I can get past their funny ways of translating certain phrases and it makes sense to me.

I really like that picture of your face, and don't feel it is too close-up. It would look good on a business card. I will reiterate what others said above, you are beautiful and have a lovely face, so why not use it for marketing?
