Payment Methods - spin off
Being the sort of person who thinks the "b" in bankers is a thinly-disguised "w", I don't want a credit card swipe machine that I have to pay monthly rent for as well as stupidly high interest rates, so we tend to use PayPal or Google Checkout.
Someone on here recently talked about using Amazon for online payments.
Are there any other good, reliable payment methods out there peeps? I need to add a payment button to my website and don't know whether to have several options (making it easier for the client but tougher for me at the end of the month when I come to reconcile the money), or just one well-known one such as PayPal.
Would appreciate any hints/tips/ideas xx

I think PayPal is the devil.
Welcome to PayPalSucks.com, PayPal Lawsuit, PayPal Alternative, PayPal Complaints, Fraud & Evil behind the PayPal system!
Here's there alternative: PayPal Alternative, Alternatives To PayPal, Merchant Account, Accept Credit Cards Online - Home
I personally like amazon and or Google products in general and I am more trusting of those two brands than any other. Good luck!

Well...I think people in general like choices. It's pretty easy with just a "pay now" button...and a bit more complicated when integrating with a full shopping cart.

depends- I have folks who are very comfortable with paypal & prefer to pay that way & others who think it is too complicated or have other reasons for not wanting to use it. authorize.net has been a good option for us since it is compatible with zencart, the free tool we used to set up our online shop- I also like google checkout if you don't want to use a set up like zencart.
