Thread: Show off your business cards!

There was a thread about this on Old Bhuz, but it was a while ago so I thought I would bring it here to Shiny New Bhuz.

I am just starting to branch into teaching, I've been assisting here and there and now my teacher is passing people to me when she has scheduling conflicts. So, I thought it would be good to get some starter cards for myself. Vistaprint is offering a fabulous deal and I'm thinking of ordering a small quantity to use until I can get things really going. I'd love to see what you guys are doing with your cards to give me some inspiration for mine.

I'd like to see a light colored card, anyone with one of those? I want a more fun happy card, not so much dark, sexy sultry one.

Debi... you know you do have a sis with some experience at designing print work here. Send me some photos and the info you would like listed on the card and I'll work something up for you. No charge.

Although if you are on a tight schedule I'll understand if you look elsewhere. The girls keep ,me busy nowadays. Hopefully I'll get accustomed to life around the new baby soon.

I took Zari's advice and contacted Zaheea. Here are the first drafts (the final is very similar but the files are too big to post). I LOVE THEM! She was easy to work with, fast, and all in all it was a very good experience! I HIGHLY recommend her!

Aziza's cards say "Middle Eastern Dance Artist" which I thought was lovely. I just stuck with "Bellydancer". Here are my cards, which I designed myself and then sent off to get printed...$99 for 1,000 cards!

imo: "professional bellydancer" will be more understandable to the gp and better to get a larger variety of gigs
