I think the competition is new this year (I'm from just over the bridge in Gig Harbor) let me know if you come, and we can meet up. (I'm competing in the Rising Star category)

I think I'll compete in this, too, in the professional category. I haven't competed since 2000, so this will be a kick in the butt. ,r:;

Just got back from the North East Belly Dance Competition in PA. Khaleela put on a first class competition and gala show.

I sooooo wanted to be there. But the Universe insists I take things slow this year, so I'm gonna listen before worse things happen to me.

It's on January 16 & 17, 2010, a Saturday and Sunday.

Oopsie. I stand corrected, I'll edit my original post.

The NEBDC was awesome. It was my first competition. Khaleela made that thing run very smooth. Im looking forward to the Bellydance nationals... yet very nervous!
