Meeting with a potential client
I'm meeting with a potential client tonight - a club that contacted me & wants to show me around and talk turkey for a one-off type event. That's all I know for now, more details tonight I'm sure. I'm used to cafe/restaurant work & private gigs, but trying to break into clubs. Any advice/suggestions/things to be aware of or watch out for? Already know not to do their advertising for them, but this place advertises pretty well in general so I don't think that'd be an issue anyway.
Anything I should take with me to give them? I'm a 'tailor to your event' type of gal in terms of contract and pricing, but should I maybe take some sort of general pricing sheet just to leave there, of course with some of my cards? I've no media to pass on (working on rectifying, but it takes time) however they've seen my site & don't seem to be deterred by lack of video and gallery.
It's a non-ME club - it's all Westerners/Americans. Also for a one-off event would you recommend getting a 50% deposit or pay in full up front? I can't decide on that one.Last edited by TexasRuya; 09-03-2009 at 12:50 PM.
