I didn't read everything but it looks good, the translations are great..g.:. Love the pictures in your gallery and will be checking back for the video page!
I liked the "hen party" description. I didn't see the "oriental cofee break" but I would consider changing this wording Finally, the group enjoys a snack with sweet oriental Turkish pastries, nuts, fruits, tea and coffee, to something like Finally, your guests will relax and enjoy a decadent array of oriental treats, served with coffee and tea as I present a final, secret gift to the bride.

Re: My website in english - did i translate right???
The only thing that jumped out at me was the title "Exclusive belly dance show". Some pervs could take that to mean "she dances exclusively for me... " You might change it to "full dance show" or "distinctive event/production" etc. Also, I think you mean stage instead of scene in that description, unless you're talking about scenery.
Beautiful website and photos!!

Yes, agree with Ozmas comments. Your original wording "Wind from the Orient" could be taken to mean that you have digestive issues ;-) But Ozmas new version reflects the meaning I think you intended.

Re: My website in english - did i translate right???
Selina, I hope you don't mind but I did a quick re-write of your bio page to make it flow a little better for native English speakers. I live in Japan, so I know what it's like to have to write things in another language and how helpful rewrites from Japanese friends are.
It's not perfect, I haven't had coffee yet:
Since childhood, Selina has loved Oriental dance. As social gatherings, with family and friends, she would watch the women dance. She grew fascinated by the soft movements and the sharp rhythms. At home she played Oriental song again and again while she danced before her mirror, hoping one day she'd master the dance.
As a teenager, Selina started taking lessons in oriental dance. She studied many different styles and with a variety of instructors, but it was only when she met Turkish dancer Suzan Ayvaz that she felt she'd found what she was looking for. Suzan Ayvan became a source of great inspiration to Selina and help her interest bloom into a full-grown passion.
Time passed and Selina moved to Malmo where she began taking courses at The Oriental Dance Center to increase her understanding of Arabic dance styles. Soon after this Salina, who had been teaching at other schools, taught at The Oriental Dance Center and performed as a lead dancer in the center's troupe show "The Passion of Orient."
The time that followed was full of intense training, dance classes and dance trips to Turkey. For years, Selina has spent most of her summers as a resident in different parts of Turkey. On her travels, she's visited Turkish dancers, has taken lesson, and has immersed herself in the Turkish style. During one of these trips to Marmaris , Selina was discovered by a famous Turkish choreographer and was invited to appear on stage at The Turban Palace, Marmaris' largest 5-star hotel.
Selina was hired as a principal dancer at The Turban Palace. Every evening she entertained the upwards of 600 guests at the huge amphitheater. Her shows became so popular that she eventually, with the help of a private chauffeur, worked in the three largest 5-star hotels in Marmaris; Turban Palace, Marmaris Palace and Marti. Each hotel had its own amphitheater with a sound and lighting team, choreographers and ballet and folk dance groups from different countries. Working daily with a variety of stage professionals, these jobs gave Selina the opportunity to further develop her stage skills and emerge a very professional dancer.

Re: My website in english - did i translate right???
Selina returned to Sweden and started working full-time in dance. She held classes at Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan, Orientaliskt danscenter, Forum, Lady Fitness Center och Salsa Sabros. On weekends, she performed regularly at the restaurants Edelweiss, Bodoni, Pasha, Sultan Palace och Ankara in Sweden and restaurant Alanya and Ankara in Denmark. But even teaching at least ten courses and dancing twelve shows a week, she felt that something was missing.
Selina wanted to increase people's awareness, appreciation, and understanding of Turkish dance styles. That's why she, together with the dancer Soraya, founded the Turkish dance association Dansöz. Today, this association has over 300 members and through Dansöz, Selina has had the chance to reach out to more people through the dance. She has held classes at the City Hall of Malmö, Malmö Hospital, Lund University, Turkish associations and few dozen basic and secondary schools in Malmö. Through Dansöz, she has also arranged several dance trips to Turkey where students from Scandinavia have met and deepened their knowledge and skills in both bellydance and folk dance. She has arranged lectures, shows and other activities, performed at numerous events and worked voluntarily with the dance to support children, the disabled and a wider culture.
Today, dance is Selina's life. She has participated in oriental dance festivals abroad and several music videos shown on TV in the U.S. and Afghanistan. In 2009 she focused on learning the Turkish folk dances, Turkish Romany and explored ballet, jazz and modern dance and its influence on oriental dance. She is booked for Arabic belly festivals in England and Germany where she will both perform and teach. She works constantly with new projects. One of the projects she is most proud of is her work with SOS Children in Turkey, a charity for which, through dance, she raises money for orphans.

Re: My website in english - did i translate right???
aaaaaaaaaaand, unable to sleep in...I did the same for your booking page:
Bellygrams
Bellygrams are a pleasant surprise to present someone with. They can be performed at work, home, restaurants, or similar places and serve to celebrate someone's birthday, to make a marriage proposal, to send a gift or to bring good news. They consist of a surprise 5-minute costumed performance which ends by presenting a written greeting or gift from the booker. To facilitate the surpise, Selina will bring her own battery-powered sound system to provide the music.
A Bellygram serves a specific purpose and is different than a show meant to entertain a whole party. For party entertainment for an audience see the options listed below. Bellygrams, like all of Selina's performances, are appropriate for all ages.
Mini bellydance show;
A 10-minute show ideal for smaller events or places with limited space. It is family-friendly entertainment, perfect for private parties hosted at home or in small venues. In her show, Selina presents a variety of different rhythms options. Classic bellydance show A 20-minute show for standard-sized events in a venue with a dance floor or stage. The show begins with a mysterious entrance wherein Selina appears, her body and costume wrapped in a beautiful veil. When she has raised the audience's curiosity she continues the show with a veil dance. After this she performs an upbeat dance with happy music (here you can get the opportunity to choose between Turkish, Persian or Arabic music if you desire). The show ends with a powerful percussive drum solo finale.
Exclusive bellydance show:
An exclusive bellydance show is 2 * 20 minutes and suitable for larger events, such as weddings, galas or corporate meetings with an oriental theme to be held in a venue with a dance floor or a stage. Selina entertains the audience with two different shows on two separate times during the evening. The shows include a beautiful veil dance , dancing with the mysterious isis wings, dancing in high tempo to oriental drums and acrobatic floorwork. At each show Selina wears a unique professional bellydance costume.

Re: My website in english - did i translate right???
Hen party / Bachelorette party:
Let Selina brighten your day with a beautiful dance and goodies from Turkey. The bride is brought blindfolded into a beautiful ballet room in central Malmö. She is seated with the rest of her group. When the blindfold is taken off she is met by soft lighting, colored spotlights, and oriental music. Selina enters dancing in full costume and performs a 10 minute long bellydance show with a variety of tempos and rhythms. After the show, the bride is dressed in a handmade bellydance costume, covered with stones and sequins with matching jewelry. This is a perfect opportunity to take memorable pictures. After the photo session, the entire group participates in a 60-minute dance lesson where Selina goes through various stages - from soft sensual movements to powerful shimmies and vibrations. Finally, the group enjoys a snack of sweet oriental Turkish pastries, nuts, fruits, tea and coffee, and the bride receives a secret gift. Hen parties can be booked as described above and can be modified as needed.

Re: My website in english - did i translate right???
I'm bored with nothing to do at work!
Payment is done on site prior to the performance or lesson.
Selina does not perform for all-male audiences. If there is an appropriate reason for doing so, please clarify it before attempting to book her.
Selina brings her music on CD. She can bring her music on a USB memory stick, but this must be arranged ahead of time.
If you need Selina to bring her own CD player, please request this in the booking form.
Selina needs a room where she can change before the show and in which she can safely keep her belongings during the show.
For shows in a small room or apartment, please try to clear an ample amount of space for her to perform in. It’s always better to give more space than less!
Selina is always happy to dance with the bride, the birthday boy/girl, or others, if requested ahead of time.
If you are interested in also booking an oriental musician / singer, Selina can provide the contact information to do so.
Selina accepts tips given to her in a respectful manner. Respectful tipping includes the traditional Middle Eastern “money shower” (where bills are showered over the dancer as she performs) or tips carefully tucked into her arm band, into her belt at the hip, or the shoulder of her bra strap. To avoid accidental dancer/audience collisions, make sure Selina sees you are going to tip her before you do so.
Disrespectful or inappropriate behavior towards the dancer will not be tolerated and will terminate the performance.
Cancellation must be done at least 24 hours ahead of the scheduled performance to avoid being charged half the performance fee.
I added the "To avoid accidental dancer/audience collisions, make sure Selina sees you are going to tip her before you do so." because I hate it when people come up behind me or reach out to tip too quickly...Last edited by ozma; 09-08-2009 at 11:22 PM.

Re: My website in english - did i translate right???
Selina is also a versatile soloist. She’s performed at magdansfestivaler abroad and has been featured in several music videos in the United States and Afghanistan. She’s danced at countless weddings, engagement parties, company parties, fairs, festivals, oriental nightclubs, christenings, private parties, bayramfester, New Year's celebrations, inaugurations and galas.
(OK, the next section I didn’t quite understand, so I am guessing)
Her dance style is rooted in Turkish kabarestilen, a style marked by complex movements, floorwork, and expressive hand and arm gestures. In addition to this base style she is well versed in elegant Egyptian styles, aspects of Persian, Iraqi and Lebanese dance, ballet, and folk dances. She is a consummate professional who constantly strives to improve and expand her shows and her repertoire. She is always impressively costumed in the latest high-end dance fashions from design houses in Egypt and Turkey, such as Bella, Sim Moda, Hoda Zaki and Madame Abla.

Re: My website in english - did i translate right???
Selina the instructor
Selina has taught regularly at Lady Fitness Center, Study Vuxenskolan, Malmö Hospital, Oriental Dance Center, Forum, Dansöz, Ataturk and Salsa Sabrosa.
Selina’s students describe her as inspirational, enjoyable and humble. She feels that every student has the potential to enjoy dancing. She shares her knowledge of oriental dance and its history while giving her students the tools they’ll need to become dancers who can express themselves as individuals. Lessons with her explore dance technique, expression, stage presence, tips and tricks, dance history and laughter.
(Is “dansföreningen” a word the translation program forgot to translate? Does it mean dance studio? )
In 2007, Selina and Soraya felt there was a need to better promote and educate people in Turkish styles of dance and thus founded the Turkish dansföreningen Dansöz. Currently, Dansöz has over 300 members and has been instrumental in bringing more people to this unique dance.
(some of this I didn’t understand and made guesses in)
Through her work with Dansöz, Selina has held workshops at city hall, hospitals, universities, associations and dozens of schools in Malmö. She also runs annual dance trips to Turkey where students can increase their knowledge of bellydance, folk dances, and Turkish customs.
(Is “mångkulturalite” a word the program forgot to translate?)
Selina has also used her dance skills to help support nonprofit organizations that protect children, the disabled and mångkulturalitet as the Red Cross and BRIS. She’s donated her expertise by teaching volunteers at events around Sweden that have been highlighted on television and in newspapers. In addition to helping other organizations, Selina has also created a charity project in which she uses the money raised by her performances to help orphans in Turkey.
