Thread: Party Pop UK

Hello UK Bhuzzers! I was wondering if any of you have used Party Pop, and if it's worthwhile opening an account with them. Any advice would be appreciated, I'm new to the UK and looking to create some opportunities. Thanks!

I used them for a while but didn't renew when I found that I was deluged with hard-sell sales calls for all their other services. Persistence is one thing but these guys really had trouble taking no for an answer and I wouldn't recommend them simply on that score.

I don't like them - hard sell as Afra said - also they can't deliver what they promise (ie being at the top of Google) and the guy I spoke to was rude, arrogant and ignorant - he was very insistent that the best market for bellydancers was stag parties because "that's what bellydancers do" and didn't want to take my word for it that that wasn't the case because he knew better than me! What a tw*t! Any company who's salesmen don't actually listen to their prospective clients can stick it as far as I'm concerned!
There are better ways to advertise...

Thank you for your responses - they don't sound very professional to me, so I'll be giving their services a miss. Sounds like I had a lucky escape :D

I used them for a year and found them very pushy- I was in as a wedding piper (Northumbrian smallpipes) and they had me down as a Highland bagpiper- I told the guy it would be like a customer looking for a harpist and being offered a trumpetter, and was told "Oh, you'll just have to persuade them you're what they want".
Sounds like we had the same t*sser Caasi...I got the hard-sell to renew the service a year later and had to tell him I'd retired to get rid of him!

I have used it here in the US and gotten a lot of work.
