Thread: I <3 spreadsheets

For organizing restaurants and gyms I'm contacting!

Usually I would have running lists or stickies on my computer, but spreadsheets are great! I've recently started contacting several restaurants/gyms at a time in a massive campaign to find work, and the spreadsheets have proven invaluable for organizing contact information and the results of my calls and emails. I've been using the spreadsheet option in Google Docs so I can access both at home and work.

Here are my columns, in case you want to try.
Restaurant Name
Resataurant type
address
phone
contact name
email
results of first contact/followup
results of followup
etc.

I use spreadsheets for tons of stuff! I use them to keep track of student names, to make invoices, to log all my income and expenses from dance, and to record what topics I teach in my Level 2 classes so I don't repeat the lesson plans too often. I'd be lost without my spreadsheets!

Now that I think about it, they have come in handy in the past for class organization. ..l;, This is just my new spin, I guess!
