Thread: Photos for christmas?

I know this sounds strange I need at least five people who will attest to the fact that they had photos taken for a christmas gift from their hubby or boyfriend! It;s a husband wife kind of talk going on in my house right now!
Come on ladies who had them done as a gift?..g.:

I have. Photos are a great gift for your man.

I can't remember exactly who in the photo shoots I had done, but I can remember at least 3 women wanting photos specifically for gifts.

I've never done it personally, but a lot of my friends have talked about it. I'm trying to convince my photographer boyfriend to capitalize on this very trend. What guy wouldn't want a hot set of pinup or boudoir photos of his wife/SO?

I was asked by the hubby what I wanted for christmas. I told him new photos he said that was not gift at all and didn't want to do it. I think it would be a great gift! He's bought all sorts of belly dance gift prior to this! He can not be convinced, even though it's a tax deductable gift..g.:

You mean a photo shoot as a gift from him? That sounds great! For Christmas and my b-day I often get $ from family for workshops and/or costumes and I LOVE it. Tell him I, for one, think he should definitely give you a dance photo shoot for Christmas.

I think it's a fantastic gift.

I am also a photographer. So I have done self-portraits for my husband for birthdays, anniversaries, etc. I've also done photoshoots for other women in the city for hubby surprises!

I have done photos of gifts. Both of just me in the past (usually a glamour shots sort of thing after having a baby).
Last Valentine's Day I had portraits taken of me with all four of our daughters. Nice mother/daughter photos. They were really sweet and he loved them.
Whether sexy or sweet they can be a great gift.

I've been given a photo shoot as a gift from my SO at the time. It was a great and thoughtful gift. :)

I have done this for my hubby and he loves it..g.: In fact he asked for a new one this Christmas so I am having NikkiJ work up something extra fun. Regular photoshoot pictures though is what I normally have done.
Satin if I ever make it out that way, I will have to look you and Stacy up. He always takes such gorgeous photos of you...of course it helps to be smokin hot to begin with lol

Thanks! Stacy and I are like peas and carrots. I'm only extra blessed that he happens to be so flippin' talented at what he does!

I've done shoots for this before many a time, have a few coming up in december actually for this reason.

OK for some reason he doesn't want to give me photos, go figure.
