I know what you mean about the prep time and everything being the same for most of our solo gigs; there are certainly fixed expenses/time requirements regardless of show length.
I actually prefer to do 'grams (and that's really what most folks want, if they only knew it!) over 20 minute shows, so I price them accordingly. The rates are still up there pretty close to the next price point, but enough of a difference to perhaps *encourage* booking the shorter show. At least that's my plan . . . .w.:

ETA: In order to determine how to price my lowest rate show, I asked myself, "what is the minimum that'll prompt me to get all dolled up and out the door?" I don't want to price myself such that I actually get all resentful about preparing for the gig and dancing for Aunt Sally and Uncle Jack's anniversary party, so I have to be fair to myself.
