Thread: yep- we're doing it - the big gig update

hey

just came back from meeting with the organisers, and my big gig... it's happening. i'm putting together a one hour show (three blocks of 20 minutes), with about 25 dancers (20 from my school and 5 guests).. for a huge trade fair... i've just finished getting the order/program to and mailing it to them for final approval. but we are talking details now, hands have been shaked, they are going to pay a deposit, and we are finetuning the contract.

now i can start worrying about rehearsals and costuming. anybody have 6 white skirts for sale?

ps, it's going to be professionale videotaped by a three camermen crew, and they have promised to give me a tape, which will be outtakes from our show, not the whole thing, so hopefully we get some decent promo material out of this too.. some tv exposure probably too.

Oh man, congrats! How on earth does one charge for a show like that? I would expect it would be super expensive!!
