There is an amazing herbalist/instructor that offers this type of event 4 times a year. Participants get to work along side of her while weeding, digging and doing general clean-up. Believe it or not these events go over very well as people just want to be near her on the off chance she might offer some pearls of wisdom.
Maybe if they taught you how to shimy while sweeping the floors it might be worth it. -ummm maybe not.

NO, Liza! That is where this differs from run of the mill expoitations of goodwill! This cleaning event is also a *passive marketing opportunity* because participants can wear their OWN promotional t-shirts! And if they are real go-getters they can also use this *passive marketing opportunity* as a platform for more aggressive marketing - like, for example, telling other participants - of which there will be MANY, and in your *target demographic* - about their products and services *completely free of charge*!

Really, I think the organisers should charge volunteers a small base fee, just for the *passive marketing opportunity*. After all, it's worth a lot!

And due to the limited number of cleaning positions available, we are charging $25 registration fee per participant. But if you register before xx/xx/xx you will get our earlybird special of only $20!
