Thread: which are the easiest websites to order or purchase from?

This would include straight purchase or custom orders.

I'm talking about easy to navigate, and finish the purchase.

Do you like galleries of items and then a separate order sheet

Or would you prefer images and descriptions of items with an instant buy or paypal button right next to the item>

I personally really like the belly dance store (bellydancestore.com). The site is easy to navigate, they have thousands of costumes in many price ranges, it's easy to create an account and a wishlist, and the ladies are great to work with. I was able to talk them down by a LOT on price for a costume I bought there. The shipping was really quick too. I'd say it's a great site for not custom, straight purchases.

my preferences:

I like a shopping cart with paypal purchase option. I prefer both a menu of available items and a search function to find the items I want to buy.

I truly dislike having to go through pages and pages of things I am not looking for to find the one thing I want. I also don't like separate mail-in/fax-in order forms, but I think they should be available for people who do not have online payment capabilities.

The type of site I will immediately leave and not purchase from: 1) plays music or has a huge flash intro, 2) has no way to search items, 3) has little to no labeling of items, and 4) makes it difficult for me to place an order.

Although I have spnt a fortune with Dahlal over the years, I do not like their website for costumes- can't search be size, so I look at 100 costumes that would never fit me. I buy from Dahlal when Debbie or Josh come here (which is a lot) for showings, but I avoid the website most of the time.

I really like the Belly Dance Store's search capabilities. I also like the wish list.

I'm not patient- I have needy kids and VERY limited time- if I can't place an order quickly, I don't bother.

I like being able to look at a lot, put things in a shopping cart, and check out quickly.
