Cartage Fees?
Musicians often charge a cartage fee for bringing their equipment to shows.

Do we roll that expense into our flat rates? Has anyone considered this cartage issue in producing dance shows? What if your whole troupe is arriving with 2 car loads of props, costuming and background scenery?

Re: Cartage Fees?
Oh yeah!! Build it in into the fee. You can determine the fee based on how many dancers, costume changes, etc will be included in show plus the length of the show, travel, it all adds up

Re: Cartage Fees?
We charge extra for toting a sound system. Not only is it a hassle, but it shortens the life of the system IMO.
