Thread: eye contact, assertiveness and tipping

Just wanted to comment I have seen a positive correlation between the amount of eye contact given to an audience member when I'm dancing, mixed with enough assertiveness to dance near enough and accept tips. I was always shy about accepting tips but steady eye contact and pulling up the wristband to allow for money to be placed in it has led to a definite increase in what I'm bringing home each night.

I agree, there's a certain openness and welcome that allows the audience to connect back in the form of appreciation such as tips. The queen must graciously receive her adoration! :-)
