Thread: promo vids - dvd format?

I was thinking of getting a DVD made, but I know that youtube, etc. is really popular now. Is there any benefit of having a physical DVD, or do people prefer to go to the 'net and watch clips online?

A physical DVD is really nice if you're a fan of mass-mailing press kits to prospective clients (or dropping them off in person). Some people like to give press kits to restaurant owners, wedding planners, banquet facility owners, or anybody else who might be interested in their services. This looks really slick and professional.

For most party and bellygram clients, a YouTube clip should suffice. That is, if they even have those extra 5 minutes to watch a video in the first place .w.:

I pretty much agree with everything that SatinWorship has said here. As an event organizer, I've always been hella impressed when someone actually sends me a press kit (I've only ever gotten 2).

Youtube does make things uber easy. You can put your vid on your website and many other places.
