Thread: Liability Insurance Specifically for Workshops

I have decided to Sponsor a Belly Dance workshop.

I have to get liability insurance for the three day workshop plus for the performance venue.

When I started this venture I had not thought about this.
I am considering becoming an LLC to make sure I am protected.

Anyone else an LLC? Any advice?

Also any suggestions for the type of liability insurance? I have checked out a few things and the workshop and performance are considered two different events so I am being quoted for two events.

Where we live, it is cheaper to get insurance for our events for the whole year than to get liability insurance for one event. And they won't even quote on liability insurance until a couple months before the event, so how can you plan for it?

LLC in KY needs more than one person, probably different other places.
