Thread: who is who page for studio

i'm brainstorming updating the contents of my website, to reflect better what we have on offer

one of this things is that my school is not ONE teacher, but several talented, well trained teachers under one umbrella

so i would like a who is who page to better showcase the individual teachers (rather than just myself)... they've earned that too! and i think it would be clearer for new students that way as well.

anyone have any nice examples of "who is who" page. or as a student, what info would you like to read?

We KISS it, more pix than words. And describing the non-dance life is as important as the dance life, to encourage pre-class bonding with potential students :)

Not bellydance, but I think how they've set this out works perfectly with their intended market. I also like how there isn't miles of text about each dancer, and what is written creates a clear image/character of the performer. I do think there are too many thumbnails and they would be better served with fewer in some cases:

I've been thinking of ideas for a page for our teachers and one for our dancers. I love the though of a kind of index card/performers resume looking design... I haven't mocked anything up yet but if I can work some code for it I will pm you.

It IS a nice layout but the thumbnails load very slowly, at least this morning ;) If this lack of speed is typical then the layout does them no good at all - I clicked away in frustration after a couple of pics.
