Business Cards...
I am in desperate need of business cards...NOT the freebies you can print from home, but REAL ones lol! Does anybody have any recommendations? Do you use someone local or do you have a tried-and-true online service you use?

I used vistaprint, online, they do a quick turnaround for a higher price if time os of the essence.

Re: Business Cards...
I used GotPrint and was very happy with both the quality and the price. You can design your cards online or you can download their templates for photoshop that help you keep the proper margins for your text, etc. I did the latter -- designed my own in photoshop and uploaded them. I will probably order postcards from them.

I also use printsmadeeasy.com - both with their design tool and for printing. Easy, quick, affordable. I've been using them for years and every single experience has been positive.

Re: Business Cards...
As an artist I've used only Modern Postcards for years, for all of my show notices etc. The color rendering is absolutely crucial to me, and these guys get it right. I love that I can pay a little extra for a Fedex'd color proof that can be tweaked before 500 bleached out or greened out cards arrive. They also provide download-able templates so I can create my own designs. I've used other, cheaper companies and always regretted it. Home | Modern Postcard

I'm a professional designer and I've used Modern Postcard and Vista Print. Modern Postcard's quality is *so* much better.

Re: Business Cards...
All my design/promotion material is done by Brian Feister of DreamStarStudios. DreamStar Studios | Web, Graphic, & Identity Design Studio (Delaware) | Photoshop, CSS, xHTML, & Web Design Blog is his site. He does websites, photography, promotional materials... everything. and his wife's a dancer too! He's remaking me some cards now.. he designs them and prints them nice and glossy. They look really professional and his designs are ALWAYS stunning.. and even though he works w/ alot of dancers none of our stuff is 'cookie-cutter'.... but it's all beautiful. I'd really really recommend him if you want something above the norm.

Re: Business Cards...
Modern Postcard is excellent and I agree about the color issue.
Vistaprint I believe keeps their logo on the other side of the card and you pay extra to have it removed (as with a few other post card companies)?

Re: Business Cards...
I use Vistaprint, they don't seem to have the logo on it, but you do have to pay a small fee to upload your own pics/design and they ask a LOT for shipping costs, so I usually wait with ordering new ones until their business cards go on sale

Re: Business Cards...
I use vistaprint for postcards, and a yard sign. Both look great. I use Moo.com for my business cards. If you want to put a photo on one side they allow you to use multiple photos. So right now I have 5 styles of business cards for the price of 1.

Re: Business Cards...
I use vistaprint and the quality is good, but not great. If you just need cheap cards made in bulk to scatter in restaurants I'd go with Vistaprint. The print in the last batch I ordered looked a little bleedy, but that is what you get for 500 cards (double sided) at $34 (including shipping).

Re: Business Cards...
Well I ended up going with Vistaprint, designed my own, and they looked exactly as I expected. I had no idea what size I wanted and so went with the smaller size, I think next time I will get larger ones. They did not have a logo on them, either, and shipped VERY quickly~I paid for shipping within 21 days and recieved them in 5!
It was extra to use my own photos. Roguepen I think I may check out Modern Postcard next time just for giggles :)

I'm late to this party, but I use MOO. I can have different pictures on the cards, and they are really good quality. Highly recommend.
