Thread: Check my NEW website pretty please!

It's 99% done!
I still have some text to add and change and the official change of domain name but please click on my new website. Please let me know if you hate any of the photos or have trouble navigating.
If you own one of my designs please check the customer gallery. Your photo may be there. If you wish to have it removed or changed let me know. I am offering incentives for photos so if you haven't gotten yours send me an email.
If you want to swap links let me know.
If it looks weird or funky in any way please tell me. Some feedback would be great. This turned out to be a great bhuz affair because the website was a swap for a costume.

My only constructive criticism would be to take out the "As a dancer...As a costumer...". Since you have the title of Dancer, Costumer etc... I think the paragraphs speak for themselves.

1. Can you sort the costumes under costume 1 and costume 2 instead by maybe bedlahs and one pieces?

2. Is there a way to glide over the costume pictures and have a full pick pop up rather than having to click on each mini pic?

3. Really love the performance page, simple, elegant and easy to read!

Very nice, and I didn't find any broken links. I only had two small problems:

The paragraph of text under the "Links and Friends" heading was still greeked. (That definitely needs fixing.)

I kept wanting to click on the "Costume Designer | Professional Belly Dancer | Instructor" on your header and couldn't. Maybe rewrite as "Costume Designer, Professional Belly Dancer, and Instructor" so they look less like hyperlinks?

i thought the site looked GREAT loved the layout easy to navigate. the only thing i'd change if you could when i was looking through pics of those wearing your costumes it took me awhile to find the 'next' button, because it's hidden if you move the mouse over the top right corner it shows up, but could it be visible? mind you could have also been more difficult cause i'm not paying attention...lol. great website i love it.

ok got it. I can't separate the galleries into bedlahs and one pieces though. That would be way too much work but is a great idea. Thanks for all the other suggestions. I am making a list. Lots of text is greeked but will be done soon. I am looking mainly for ideas with layout/pics etc...

aaaawwww I wish the hip drop was back. That is some text I will unfortunately be changing =( But I am still looking for a good venue so maybe some day soon.

It looks awesome! I like the colors ans the navigation. It makes me want another costume, lol.

you may want to put the dancer's name in the caption and maybe the name of the model of the costume? that way if someone loves something they know what it is to order it from you. sometimes things look different on a body.

It's lovely! As others stated above, the only thing that was a little difficult to navigate were the galleries because I couldn't find the "next" button. Otherwise, I love it!

I also really dislike contact links that open my email client, as I don't use the email client on my computer. I personally think you should have the "contact" button at the top go to a page with a form for users to fill out.

Much as I hate to agree with a spammer, I did notice that some of the pictures on your front page look fuzzy on my computer. If this is a consistent problem (and not just my computer), you should choose different, clearer pictures for your site.
