I use Corel Paintshop Pro and like it. You can get it for around $50 to $60.

Otherwise there are some good free online ones if you use both Online image editor pixlr photo express free - quick fix images and http://www.picnik.com together

GIMP. It's an open source version of Photoshop. (Er, without the filters.)

I use www.picnik.com. Most of the features are free, and even if you upgrade to the Pro subscription, it's only $25/yr.

dito GIMP... it does everything that photoshop does... it has all the same functions but under different names and menus... and it's FREE and open source!

    Re: photo editing software

for quick edits I use pixlr.com, an online program. At home I use photoshop CS, but I wouldn't recommend it as a cheap option.

There's Adobe Photoshop Elements - most of the photoshop goodies we need for around $100. Also, Corel Paintshop Pro (though for some reason my pics have always turned out a little fuzzy with that one - can't fathom why and I'm practically a Photoshop master at this point). Also, Microsoft Digital Imaging Suite was pretty good and I believe it was reasonably priced. And there's the gimp! Have fun!

    Tx ladies!
I had Corel Paint Pro Plus but my computer was restored and now I can't find my product key :-P
That gimp program came with a nasty bunch of adwere AND spywere so I din't try that one. I think I will go for the Adobe Elements next!
