SE"OD" Another SEO question. This time about Alexa
I know this is a run-into-the-ground topic and believe me, I checked Bhuz for an answer before posting this.
My eyeballs are going to explode if I read any more SEO tip books/websites. Since the changes I make aren't immediate (takes 3ish months to show difference in Google rankings), my normal scientific method of changing one thing at a time to see what works will take me 10 years to figure it out.
I don't have that kind of time so now I am starting to consider hiring help. Small local web marketing team or internet site audits? I don't pull in huge figures in dance income (sure would like to), but I know it takes money/work to make money.
Has anyone used the Alexa Site Audit? Is it worth the $200?Last edited by crystalllized; 08-16-2010 at 06:29 PM. Reason: test, then real post (was having trouble posting)

Have you started link building yet? What is the keyword you want to rank for?

Yes I have been busy adding to dance/party directories, swapping links with fellow dancers about to start a blog...
Looking to crack "sacramento belly dancer" or some version of that. I just found out today (after posting this thread) that I crawled to the bottom of page 1 from the depths of page 5 for Google! Big victory for me!

Thanks for checking out my site :) I read somewhere that more than 60 links per page is not good? Because of this, I split my "dancer links" to a separate page from the "directory links". Is that not necessary?
I am signed up with Google Places, but listed in Davis (very small town 20 min south of Sacramento). I am thinking to also list somewhere in Sacramento with one of the restaurant addresses where I regularly perform (with permission of course!).
