I'm back down to pre-pregnancy weight but my hips are still larger, and I still have extra skin on my belly. But I had twins. I can fit into most of my pre-preggo stuff, but I dance tribal where there's a little more give. Don't forget you can always wear some powernet to suck your belly in a bit and get into your pre-preggo cossies.
I found when I was about 3-4 months pregnant my balance was shot - I kept tripping and falling over while walking much less while dancing - so I quit dancing. I ended up on bedrest anyway so I'd have had to quit eventually. I had a few gigs tell me they did not want visibly pregnant dancers (which was unfortunate since, with twins, I was visibly pregnant pretty early on), and a few tell me they would love it. You should contact your clients and leave the decision to them.

Megan I'm having the same trouble with balance..even simple turns or position changes are bad. And despite still feeling in pretty good shape from being in the water a lot, the dancing body hurts..I don't like to shimmy or do any sharp movements with baby on board..but have noticed that smoother movements are ok. Baby seems to enjoy when I play the zills and wear a jingly costume :)
If the balance was ok I'd still perform..have no qualms at all about being the pregnant bellydancer but maybe that is influenced by living in Hawaii where we wear less anyways.

Hmm, I don't like doing shimmies at the moment as well or any type of tummy-tucks. Have a pretty strange feeling in my belly as if there was something bubbeling around when doing shimmies and when tucking in my belly it hurts like having a really bad muscle ache. Especially coughing is like hell at the moment!
