Thread: do not answer number (creepy phone call alert)

Hi people,
I figure the business section is the best place to post this as I imagine the caller is finding numbers through websites. Don't pick up this number...unless you like crude crank phone calls. It's a land-line in the Los Angeles area.

My dad was receiving foul languaged crank calls. He said the callers sounded like little children and the things they were saying to my father made him so wretchedly appalled. He called the local sheriff's department and they put a trace on my dad's line. It turned out the obscene callers were 10 and 11 year old girls and when their parents listened to the messages (the calls had been recorded) the parents were mortified. The Sheriff asked if my dad wanted to press charges and my father said since their parents knew what they had done, that was punishment enough.
