Thread: New website!

Well, after several weeks I finally have my website up & running! WooHoo!

It might just be my monitor, but the world Bellydance under your name is cut off halfway. Other than that, looks nice!

Oh, which page jamielynn? I can't seem to see that. Hmmmmmm.

It's not cut off on my screen. The mouse-over on the menu is a little odd, though. When you first put the cursor over a word, you get the white word on the red background, then a textured gold button pops between the word and the background.

Just curious--are you planning to put photos all the way across the banner for all of the pages? The home page and "About Nazneen" have photos on the right half of the banner, but the other five pages have a black-and-blue drawing of St. Basil's Cathedral.

Yes, I plan on putting photos on the banners for the other pages as well.

Congratulations! I just put mine up recently, too.

I don't have any problem with either the word "bellydance" or the mouse-over on the menu buttons (you may have already fixed that issue). I like the concept of using a different photo of yourself in the banner for each page.

Also, I love your hair!

Ditto here, using a Chrome browser. And the link section looks skinny and tense.. somehow the design doesn't go well with the rest of the site.

The 'tool tip' that appears at the bottom of the page when hovering over a link is simply the html page name, which is distracting and does you no good.

Also, in Chrome (which is the browser I am using today) the actual pages are rather small.. maybe 1/3 of the real estate.. and positioned at the top of the visible page. with a Go Daddy logo conspicuously positioned in the center of the page beneath your info. I'd make your web pages larger or position them more towards the middle of the screen, and ixnay on the Go Daddy logo... let them do their own advertising somewhere else.. IMO :)
