Doing a troupe photo shoot, need ideas!
Hi all,
We're doing a troupe photo shoot and I'm trying to surf the internet and get ideas for poses. Does anyone have sites that they can recommend and don't mind us stealing your poses? .p:: Bhuzzers help is always appreciated!

What I always do w/ my girls and when I had more than three. we would do an entire troupe shot, then duets, then singles.
We would do a creative staggered line, then a diaganal line, then a "piryamid" pose w/ some on the floor sitting, leaning, laying ect.
Also, if you can bring a small bench, chair or something to the shoot (unless they already have things to pose on) that will greatly help you.
Another thing are veil shots (if you use them) wing shots (if you use them) and cane/zill/tray shots (I like props personally)
hope that gives you a good idea.

I was part of a large group in ME/NH. We averaged from 15 to 26 members.

I realize action shots with a group are virtually impossible, but could you take some favorite moments from your group choreos and use them as poses? You might need to vary them slightly (moving closer together, changing the formation) but at least you'd have snapshots that reflect your dancing as a troupe.

Those are gorgeous. And you are the most beautiful woman ever.
Can I ask a weird question? What color lipstick do you wear? That deep pink/rose would be more flattering on me than a true red with some costumes, and yours is just right -- not too dark, or too light, or too red, or too pink.

Thanks Lauren,
I use a lip liner pencil to fill in my lips completely, the put a gloss over the top,
it's totally cheap stuff Rimmel, the liner is called 'wine' then I use their vinyl gloss in 'velocity'. The liner is a very deep wine/berry color, and the gloss tones it down so it's not so dark and adds a bronze/pink hue.

This is true Lauren, I'm 1/2 native American, so I have a bronzy color, if you are pale it might be too dark. I would say try it, hell Rimmel is only about $2-3 for their product, then just keep experimenting. I rarely use one shade of anything, I layer, my liner/lipstick are darker than the gloss I put over
Thanks Shayna, I like the bowling pin line up too!!

Thank you Aradia. I'll have a look at the Rimmel wine and pick one out that's a shade lighter, I'm a pasty thang.
Don't you love it when you find inexpensive drugstore products that work brilliantly? My favorite eyeliner is a Prestige brand from Walgreens!!
