Best site for print-on-demand T-shirts?
I love cute practice wear, and I'm currently working on some belly dance graphic designs that I'd like to float out into the world on a print-on-demand clothing site. I'm looking for a place that does high-quality printing (flex/flock or screen printing) and has a good product selection. Tank tops are a must, since they're my favourite to wear for practice!
My current front-runner is Spreadshirt. I've also had a look at Zazzle and Café Press. Is there a good site that I'm missing? Can anyone share their experiences with print-on-demand?

I have one or two things from cafe press, and I wasn't impressed with the quality of printing. Everything printed had that look that you get when you magnify a picture printed in a newspaper and felt somewhat stiff.

I agree with Najla about cafe press. They have a very small quanity of tank tops available and the quality of the clothing and the printing is terrible. Zazzle has about the same options as cafe press, but I've never ordered anything from them.
I tried to use another vendor once too and I can't think of the name, but I had the hardest time uploading my art.
And FWIW, I find these to be the best tanks in terms of quality: http://www.4logoapparel.com/cgi-bin/...&styleCode=960
Oh and make sure that if you are making a logo for the front of the tank that you size it to agree with boobage. I've had issues with several tanks stretching out over my boobs and distorting the logo. You can try to avoid this issue by making the logo smaller (and carrying larger sizes)."East coast girls are hip." ~ The Beach Boys, 1965

Ooh, looked at the printing processes with Spreadshirt.com. Nice. Just make sure you meet their file specs and your resolution is up to par for the highest quality.
You could check out your local printers and advertising specialty businesses for their prices on small runs.
Personally, I like the idea of setting up a shop for on-demand stuff. It's a chance to make a a bit of money. Although, the short time I had a Cafe Press shop, I didn't sell anything.Professional Photographer and Designer... Totally Amateur Dancer

I use cafepress and have been pleased with the quality of the printing and how long it holds up. I used good quality and properly sized image files which makes all the difference.

I think Spreadshirt's a go. I watched a YouTube video with more info on their printing processes, and it looks like they even have a new digital printing process that's higher quality than what I'm used to: the result supposedly isn't stiff and doesn't have that additional transparent material around the edges that you get with digital transfer.
I'm mostly planning to design for plot printing, since that method is both durable and aesthetically-pleasing, but I have one design that I'm in love with that's too intricate for plot, so it would be great if digital were a decent option.
Ultimately, I'm designing things that I want to own, so I'm my own market.
If other people were to like them, too, it would be a bonus!

http://www.fashion-incubator.com is a phenomenal resource especially for start-ups in any kind of garment production.
You can plug "t-shirt" into the search bar you'll see lots of those posts. But also check WOATS (words on a t-shirt), too, and GOATS (graphics on a t-shirt).
