Thread: need new website, any referrals?

I know similar threads have been posted before but I coulnd't find one that provided the information I need.

I am looking for a website designer with reasonable prices and exciting/creative ideas. If you have a greast hosting service or if you have built your own website through one of them ,which one do you recommend? Can you please post any information here?

I've always made my own, but I know Michelle Joyce does some great websites for dancers:

He's more expensive- but totally worth it. Brian Feister of DreamStarStudios...he made my site http://www.ShirazRaqs.com Carrara Nour's site, Cristina of NY's site, Ranya Renee's site, Jaida of NY's site.... check 'em out.. he does amazing work and they all look COMPLETELY different. www.DreamStarstudios.net is his site; his wife is a belly dancer as well, he really knows how to make amazing sites that SHOW UP on google rankings and have a totally professional and unique look.

but his work speaks for itself if you check out the above mentioned sites. It's also super easy to self-maintain.. I can add my own vids, pics, change my text, update my calendar.. everything.

What Shiraz said! Brian is the man. My website is as easy to update as a blog. Plus, he's very honest to deal with. Often, if I need to make a minor change but I'm not quite sure how to do it, he'll give me the code and walk me through it, instead of charging an arm and a leg for something that would take 5 minutes. Gotta love that!

yep he;s a genius. I wish i was half as talented as he is with graphic design and so great. I met him and his wife when they came down to Orlando and not only are they talented, they are so sweet and fun! I love his work.

Thank you so much for the information. Shiraz, I love your website and I am also looking for a format that will allow me to do my own updates in content, videos and pictures. The current problem I have is that I have to pay each time I want an update and that's how those initila "cheap" packages become expensive. I will be contacting Brian very soon.
