Thread: Talent Agencies?

Hi, all!

I've been advised a couple times to offer my dancing services to a talent agency, but I have no clue how you go about finding the good ones. When I look in the Yellow Pages, I see a horde of them. How do you know which ones are good to deal with? Local fellow dancers aren't probably going to give out that info, and thereby increase their competition.

I already tried gigmasters for a month, and only got one contact, and that didn't pan out.

One of my friends used to run a singing telegram company. Typically, the messengers she worked with (singing gorillas, belly dancers, etc.) had relationships with multiple agencies simultaneously because no one agency had enough work to keep them busy full time.
