Thread: info to set up a bellydance business in Australia

Hi there,
I am living in Melbourne, Australia on a 457 visa (long term, I have permission to work, my husband was sponsored by his company to get here). I was a bellydancer and bellydance teacher in France and would like to start again here.

I need to know what kind of business is usually used for this purpose (I don't want to have a dance school but be able to teach in other people dance schools and community centres).
I would also need to know the local rates for gigs in Melbourne and how employment works usually with restaurants owners here (through a main dancer or directly with owner for example).
