    Affordable business card site?

    Hi ladies,

I was wondering who had a good, affordable business card company/site they could recommend? I'm not looking for anything fancy. Will upload my image and prolly just get 1 sided cards, rectangle, either matte or glossy finish.

    Thanks!

I like Overnight Prints and I'm not just saying that because I am in their affiliate program. I use them for almost everything printed.

If you end up using them, can you click on the link in my website so I can get a small finder's fee? Thanks in advance.

I've been using printsmadeeasy.com for years and love them. Easy design template, good prices, speedy delivery.

I also use vistaprint. If you get them on their deal days, you can get 250 or even 500 business cards for "free". All you pay is shipping and $5 if you are going to upload your own image instead of using one of their templates. They also have a lot of other free goodies like postcards and t-shirts and magnets to match your cards.

Definitely gotprint.com—they have low prices and excellent quality. I order a lot from them as a broker for clients' print jobs at my day job (as a production coordinator)—business cards, postcards, rackcards, etc.—and have had great experiences throughout. Have also used overnightprints.com and I think their work is good as well but slightly more expensive.

I use vista print for my mass printing needs, but for really nice cards. I HIGHLY recommend moo.com: MOO | Custom Business Cards, MiniCards, Postcards and more... | moo.com USA

They have really really really great quality and aren't horribly expensive for what you get. Last time I ordered it was $20 for 100 cards. They have really nice paper, nice surfaces (matte and glossy) and you can customize each of the cards in a different way (ie: put up a different photo on each card or have 10 of one 50 of another etc.). The cards are printed doubled sided and in full color too, so for the price, I think it's a good deal if you don't need a million cards. They are also super quick with production and delivery.

question for vista print users: did you use the matte or glossy finish? I was jut going to use the cheaper matte finish but am not sure if the cardstock is cheap and flimsy...? Any experiences with this?

I just get the standard cardstock. It's like an average sturdy business card... not flimsy paper. I have the glossy finish on my postcards (standard for them I think) and they're nice, but the color is a little different on those glossy postcards than on my business cards... just by a little bit.

I have glossy on one side and matte on the other side. The glossy looks super fabulous, but the problem is if you aren't careful, they get fingerprints all over them.

I got some matte one sided cards because they were free once. Just keep them in a hard case and they will be fine. If they float around in your gig bag, they get screwed up pretty fast.

Only Moo.com period. The quality of the cards is exceptional (quality of photo and card stock itself). I always get compliments on the card (it has "weight" to it, so your card isn't going to just get 'jammed' into a pocket' and get smashed and ruined immediately). My first ever business cards were from Staples, ability to customize and done in 15 minutes and I got a million of them. However, you get what you pay for: cheap cards. I rather spend a little more and get quality business cards that say "now THATs a professional". They also have cards, invitations, post cards, stickers, etc :)

wow... i didnt even know Staples made business cards, but hey you can buy everything else there nowadays so I guess it's not a stretch! ;)

And dont think vista has any weird system requirements.

Thanks for all the advice/input ladies!!!

Ditto...I have a double sided card and I payed somewhere from $30-$35 for 500 cards (I payed the extra for higher quality printing but it was worth every cent)...can't complain there. I love it because I can change the picture up on a regular basis without hurting the pocket book.

I've used Win7, WinXP, IE8,9 & 10, and Firefox with no problem, all within the last 6 months. They did not request an OP or browser on any occasion.

(Short answer; er, don't know, but they've not asked me for one)
I'd like to give you some moral advice, but I have questionable morals.
