Hi! I am thinking about vending at workshops and was curious what the going rate was for tables/racks at day-long workshops.

It varies so much, depending on location, size of event, etc. I've paid anywhere from $0 -hundreds of dollars. Obviously, the larger the event and more expensive the venue, the higher the vending fee.

Thank you for responding! I'm based out of the Chicagoland, so I am most curious about rates in the region.

I have to second what Sabrinabellydancer said. Some events I paid with a donation of some sort. Most other events can be inexpensive as $25 per table/rack to a couple hundred dollars. It depends what the event is...a hafla, a workshop(s), guest instructor, day/evening event or a weekend event.

It's also common to have to pay a percent of sales...usually 10% or so.
