Thread: sumaya-bellydance.com being blocked by Google's Chrome virus blocker

Sumaya-bellydance. com was and still seems to be a legitimate web site BUT chrome warns me against clicking through to it.
'www.sumaya-bellydance.com contains content from google-analysis.com, a site known to distribute malware. Your computer might catch a virus if you visit this site...For more about the problems found on google-analysis.com, visit the Google Safe Browsing diagnostic page.'

Anyone know what the deal is? Was the site abandoned (a picture of a dancer flashes for a second before the warning kicks in) or is the owner unaware that this is happening?

I just got through OK using Firefox. My AVG is pretty good at blocking viruses and nothing came up.

There's been a huge issue with sites being hacked through google images. I know of at least 3 sites that have been affected by this. Unfortunately, even when the sites have been cleaned and verified as ok, google seems to take an exceptionally long time to remove that notice.

I can't say whether or not the site is ok or not, but I have a love/hate thing with Google at the moment.

Me too -- Firefox on a Mac.

The site doesn't look like it's been updated since 2008 though.
