Thread: high quality sewing notions?

I need to find the best prices on some sewing notions that I'm using for my silk business. I don't use enough to buy wholesale amounts, probably, but I'd like to know if there are better prices to be had than what I'm paying at the local jo-anns.

Specifically, I need
large spools of good all purpose thread, preferably gutterman, for a regular sewing machine (not a serger)
large spools of decorative metallic or rayon embroidery thread (pref. gutterman).
some good quality waistband elastic, preferably the kind with spandex rather than natural rubber

Any suggestions?

I've found some pretty good deals on the internet on all those things, although I'm now blanking on the sites right now (I need to bookmark this stuff better). If I run across something though, I'll let you know.

I found some 1100 m spools of gutermann threat at Atlanta Thread & Supply Company - Threads, Sewing Supplies, and more for about the same price as I pay for 110m spools at the local stores!
