Dear Bhuz friends!

I am trying to start a belly dance supply business and would appreciate your help. It is still in the beginning stages...no website or even pro pics yet. I need to sell some merchandise first to be able to afford that. i used my whole tax return to just get merch to start off with.

I am just asking for a little support to kick start this budding business of mine.

(I am also selling some stuff on the bhuz swap meet but I am honoring the code...swap meet items were purchased for my own personal use, projects that did not get finished or items i bought for myself as a working belly dancer, even though they are cross referenced on my business page as well. I am just trying to purge what I am not using. I just want to bring this up now because I know this has been an issue with other bhuz members )

If this is a business, you might consider setting up a facebook group or a page. They don't have the limits that personal profiles do, AND you don't have to ask people to friend you. They can join without approval. As a page, you also get all sorts of stats about your potential customer base, which you won't get if you have it set up as a profile.

I have esme's closet on my personal page as well...zobeida ghattas. Like i said...this is just in its infancy and there are so many things i want to do with it. This is just the way i started it and a good deal of work has gone into this page that i might as well do something with it.

Also on my business page....I only have 47 people liking it while on the Esme's Closet page I have 190 or so friends....so I don't know...it's good to have both I guess.

But thanks for the input....I will look into possibly making a group. Like offer exclusive deals for people who join the group or something. Thank you for your advice. Any little bit helps!!
