    Holy Cow - Busy season!!!

This happens to me every year, but for some reason this year it is busier than no other! I go through the holiday rush (some of you my remember me posting about my stress over 8 jobs in 2 weeks during the holidays), and then NOTHING. I mean it - no phone calls, no bookings, no NOTHING for the rest of the winter. ,s::

And then, I can't get the phone to stop ringing!! I seriously did not have one single job from the week before Christmas till April 11 (that's a long time!) and now my weekends are pretty much all booked (and some double booked!) until my wedding in October. .w.:

WTF?? Not that i'm complaining about the amount of jobs I'm getting. I'm appreciative, really. But why is it so cyclical?? I'd like to take some of the jobs I will be having in the next few months and spread them out over January-Mid April.

Do you all experience such drastic cycles in bookings? What are the busy seasons? Is it a regional thing, or does it happen everywhere?

Summertime, March and December are ALWAYS the busy seasons. The Persian community in the bay area celebrates American new year and their own new year (March) by partying nonstop, and then you have all those graduations, baby showers and weddings in the summertime.

I am too. I have found that this has been the busiest time. I am glad though. I really love to dance, but I know what you mean about spreading things around

From September 2006, I knew that my first free weekend would be at end of May, and now I know this is not possible, I'm just freaking out and getting to my limits !!!
We got to remember that we have a life, this dance is becoming our life ..c::
    (but we like it)
