Thread: Baby shower party, any fun ideas would like to share?

Hi everyone, I've a lead for a baby shower party. I was contacted by an event planner asking me to give her some ideas for fun and momorable event for her cleint's party.
So aside from a bellydance rutine and teaching a mini class or short choreography do you've any other fun ideas that would like to share with me . To be honest, this is my first baby shower. Thanks!

PS: There's a posibility that they might have males at the party.

This might be a nice occasion to use Delilah's "veil therapy", with the mother-to-be lying on the floor and everyone else putting the veils on her.

The mother-to-be, depending on how far along she is, may have a teetering sense of balance. You may want to consider the possibility of getting her friends up to dance, while she remains seated. Leave the choice up to her.

Shira's idea sparked a memory of a baby shower game: players reeled off pieces of string and cut them to what they thought the measurement of Mom-to-be's belly was.

Maybe attendees could guess how many times a veil (or series of them tied together) would wrap around Mom? The fun would be in wrapping and then unwrapping the guest of honor who for safety's sake should be seated for this.

Hip scarves might be a fun alternative because everyone associates us with them.

Oh yeas I remember I went to a baby shower and we have to guess how many llittle squares of toilet paper would wrap around the belly of the mother-to-be. It was fun!
