etsy store owners did you know about artfire?

If you are an etsy store owner with a decent amount of sales you may want to look into artfire. Stats show that artfire does not have as much traffic as etsy but if you already have a website / facebook page etc you can direct them to your new store..called a studio on artfire.

I just set one up the other day

    akaisilks on Artfire.com

my etsy store will remain open for now but I like artfire's studio approach and set up, in the listings you can write about what inspired you to make the item

I also like its integration with google shopping

AND the fee is 12.95 a month..if you are a high volume seller the final value fees on etsy add up

I just had two customers check out thru artfire..you don't need to sign up with artfire to be a buyer. One dancer already wrote me back and said the checkout was easier than etsy. Another dancer commented that she liked that the currency was automatically converted for her..

Thanks for sharing! I've been kind fed up with etsy lately... not getting rid of resellers, yelling at you or taking down your account for pointing out resellers, and the fees. Currently I'm paying about 6 dollars a month in fees (listing and selling), so it wouldn't be economical for me to make the switch at this time, but I do like artfire's layout and look.

I'm certain artfire has their problems too. There was a post just recently from someone saying alibaba is
using her photos to advertise what they make overseas.

Oh yes it sounds like etsy is more economical for you as of now. I'm paying about $150 a month in fees..
which is well worth it but if it's 12.95 on artfire that's very appealing
