There's a guy I've met at a couple of events here that matches this description to a T. The minute he meets you, he wants to know all sorts of details so he can "create a personal astrological chart" for you. He got really shirty with me when I told him I don't share specific personal information about myself with strangers.

Re: My very first....uh..."admirer"
In total agreement.
On a slightly related note, I was hired to do a BellyGram at a double celebration for the birthdays of a 60 year old man and a 15 year old boy. The 15 year old was mortified and would barely even look at me, so I just focused my attention on the other GOH and the party guests. Every once in a while, the boy's mother would point at the kid as if to say "go dance by him!", and I just played it like I wasn't seeing/understanding the gesture. I'm there to make people happy, not uncomfortable or embarassed.

I think he's a scary or a prankster.
You know why? If he really was that 'sensitive' and 'caring' he'd have introduced himself in a more open and expressive way than an e-mail. Such as introducing himself at a show with flowers or something.
Either way he seems to have created some sort of fantasy about you.
I generally do not reply to such e-mails or if I do I mostly have some sort of generic reply like "Thank you for your feedback, <so and so> School of Middle Eastern Dance appreciates and values your opinion"
I wouldn't mind if he'd come up and introduced himself as a fan but to watch from afar and then send something as impersonal as an e-mail.....something isn't right.

I also find his overly-dramatic wording to be a huge red flag. The normal procedure is to talk a few times, go out a few times, THEN profess the undying love. This guy's backwards approach and instant "connection" seem to hint at a little "unbalance."
