and the caption is not even about her, it is about my little sister who made a costume (like it) so she could be JUST like me......but please beware of this dancer and dancers like her.......The really bad part is the costume she is wearing I made 50% of becuse she didnt know how to sew....

She'll get her dues, what goes around, comes around. I believe in Karma.

Let me also say that I saw the video clips you posted recently. I didn't get a chance to give you any feedback but I watched them and they were really good. You have good technique and posture, and your musical interpretation for both was very nice. It seems that you really work hard at your dancing and if my memory serves me, you have grown tremendously as a dancer in a fairly short period of time, and without easy access to instructors and other resources those of us in less isolated areas have.

On the other hand, I suspect a dancer like Bella Vida has nothing beneath the surface other than her own ego, so she may learn technique and buy costumes, but will never be a dancer because a dancer has to have goals outside her ego, and has to have something beautiful inside worth sharing with others. When her youth and looks are gone, what will be left?

I dont even know why she would have done something like that, I have been nothing but nice to her and helping her and letting her use my things....This is the girl I tried to take under my wing.....I have been in the states for a bit and didnt even know she felt this way, Last time I saw her I wished her luck at the "show" she is talking about......Weird

Ewwww! What a truly ugly person to say such horrible things (when this person obviously needs a little more meat on her own bones for my sense of body asthetics). I've never understood why some people have to tear others down to make themselves feel better. Just don't understand it.

I think the best thing for you to do right now, Annwyn, is to let it roll off your back and move on with your day. (I know, easy for me to say, right?) But I believe by posting this to try and get back at her in some way is just feeding into a lot of negativity. I'm sorry this happened to you, though. And maybe you should just delete the comment and block her...it looks really childish if you are trying to use your myspace page for professional purposes. Remember that YOU want to be the one to rise above all this and be the mature, professional one.

Absolutely delete her comment. And then delete her from your life. She ain't worth it.

Yeah, You are right I probable should....But posting it did make me feel better.....maybe that makes me as bad as her? I truely am hurt, it is not what she said but that she said it expecially since I had really been genuine in trying to help her.....

OMG I laughed when I read Bella Vida's comment. "Wanna see what a real dancer looks like?", followed by her picture - LOL! Is she serious?

I wouldn't pay much mind to nasty comments like that. If she thought you were referring to her, she should have talked with you first before assuming anything (and esp before posting a comment like that). It sounds, though, that you may bump into each other in the future. Awkward, but it sounds like you'll handle it with the grace and courtesy she lacks.

You've gotta be kidding! She's starting to sound like a self-involved bully. I'd definitely delete her and her spiteful comments from my life ASAP.

As for the fair and you getting the job, I dont care that i the nature of the buisness you get some and I get some that is called competition. And if I remember right I wished you luck for that performance.

Now with that said please leave me alone.....I wish I had never been so kind to you....I do hope some one treats you the same way you have treated me.....

Yeah, rude comments like that tend to offend more than just the Bella Vida girl.

Anyways, I don't know what to say. Obviously you should really cut ties with this person. People like that will suck the energy right out of you. Most importantly, try not to let it bother you!!!! Their nastiness comes from envy - I guarantee it. It's hard, but try to remember that.

I wouldn't apologize to her. I'd just let her know that I was deleting her comments and blocking her b/c of her unprofessional comments and attitude. And I wouldn't say "please leave me alone." I'd just tell her to leave me alone. Good luck to her - she'll need it with that ego.

perhaps she decided to attack you because you said you love it when people copy you. she could have reacted in a how dare she say i copy her kind of way.. instead of the inocuous(spelling?) way that you meant it
retaliating may just incense her and cause her to do more
also an email may make it worse as well.. she may think of defaming you as a part of the ins and outs of competition... albeit the seedier parts.. but it happens

My apologies to all who may have been offended by my "more meat on the bones" comment. I do very much try *not* to "respond in kind" to negativity, but obviously do not always succeed in that endeavor. And this from an instructor that works hard with all of her students to help them learn to accept their bodies as they are as being the correct body for themselves (from "overly lean for most of us" if that is their natural state to fleshed out and jiggley). Once again I am proven to be only human. sigh

I would just try to ignore her. I know it's going to be really hard to do because of her comments, but she wants reaction from you. If you ignore her, she'll stop, and the way I see it is that she's jealous of you.

Just one thing - maybe print out her comments/e-mails before deleting them. Just to touch on Latriamou's post, this dancer may retaliate/continue harassing you. If she does, at least you've documented her behavior.
