Thread: Teaching Certification

Hello,
I've been teaching little girls at my son's school since the fall, and a workshop of two. A studio has approached me to teach adult classes. I would love to, but I do wonder if there is any formal certification bellydancers have?

Also, how does one become insured in case others are hurt or the studio is damaged?

Normally you have to join a dance association and pass their requirements of entry to get insurance.

As for certification: that's what I thought.

Amira Jamal found a great insurance company that she passed onto all of us that took her summer seminar in teaching bellydance. You might want to ask her about the insurance company because she looked a lot and said this one was pretty good and not that expensive.
