Have you seen this? Interesting shipping cost. Also, the location says Miami, but the shipping details say it comes from outside the USA. Interesting.

I think I recognize this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/Custom-made-prof...item41569dc00a. I can't find the thread, but somebody tried to have a lottery about a month ago for a custom costume based on this photo. The seller is a friend of a bhuzzer, I think. Based on the discussion in the thread, people seemed concerned that the seller was using photos of costumes made by other vendors then copying them. A lot of vendors seem to start out that way, though.

clever. the opening bid is $.99, so the shipping is the actual cost of the costume. if you won't refund shipping fees for a bad or misrepresented costume, you don't lose a dime. most of the positive feedback is as a buyer, not so much as seller, and the feedback from buyers seems to be from the same person.

Scam all over it.

I am quite certain that this shifting of costs from the item to shipping is a violation of Ebays terms of use since it is a way to avoid Ebay fees. My guess is that if somebody reports this seller to Ebay, they will pull the plug swiftly.

I believe it was removed. It was a thread to raffle a costume (raffles must be for charitable purposes in many countries, including the USA, or are considered illegal) and the terms were, let's say, difficult to make out. I believe the costumes are made somewhere in the Caribbean?

I recognize this one: 280626275354

I bought a costume exactly like this on the Bhuz swapmeet from a dancer in the Dominican Republic. She was very nice to deal with. The costume looks like a Sim knock-off. Of course, the quality isn't the same but neither was the price.

She also posted on the other boards, so I felt confident that she was really a dancer.

DR is a poor country. This dancer and her partner are just trying to find a way to make money, I think. I don't believe it is a scam.

Hi girls who are you, here are the responds for your question , sorry for the lately but i dont get conect to much.

1st. on my ebay said that items are locate on miami cause the ebay is my personal too, so all the merchandise i buy from usa i ship it to my adress in miami were i have my po box ( with the transexpress company)

2nd. I dont use picture of other person for costume, are the picture that my friend who is the tailor , that give me.

3th. I start the lottery to make something diferent and i think it was funny but some girls guess that was a rob or etc, i dont know but was close, ( in my country lottery and raffle are not ilegal)

4th. if i post on ebay a costume with shipping cost as the actual shipping price , i have to pay exactly the same fees as do it in the other way, put it that way is a marketing way to catch attention.

5th. Costumes are not bellas or etc costumes, my friend taylor it and she get inspired by some designer or other things as nature etc.

6th. I remenber my friend dunyah who bought the teal beauty costume, and as she said is not a pharonic of egypt, but was an great and beauty costume, for a great and streamly affordable price. She is my biggest proof

7th. i sold more costume over here , for example the orange one , to a girl i dont remenber if in canada or something like that. And she is in love with it.

Sometimes i know that in the time we live we have to be carefully cause everything is worst day by day, but in my case as a fellow dancer I dont want to rob, or take your money, first cause i god principle and i prefere to be die for hungry before eat with dirty money.

I hope that your question get clear, and just wishing my fellow bhuzer give me the chance for you to trusth in me.
