Well it depends on how much you paid for your first one. If you bought a ready-made one from Egypt in person, say at the festival, those only run about $700-$800 and they don't have much crystal work nor do they have accessories. If you custom order one, especially overseas as you are going to do, they will most likely cost more. Some of the Sahar's that Dahlal sold cost about $1,450. I have 11 Sahars and all they range from the least expensive at $1,165 to the most at $1,850. But they are MAGNIFICENT. They are nothing like what she sells "ready made." In fact these costumes are so expensive she can't afford to make them "ready made." Unless you tell me how much your first Sahar cost, I wouldn't be able to tell you if ordering them directly from her will cost more or less. Generally speaking you would think by eliminating the middle man the price would be less, but not necessarily with Sahar. Unlike Amira and Eman and most designers that have fixed prices, you will get charged based on your size (bigger sizes use more fabrics and stones so more money) and if you want accessories, those will cost you extra. Another option is to tell Sherif your budget and he will send you the jpegs from Safti's web sites of the costumes that fit your budget.
