Yea, it does seem to me (having never touched one), that a Georgette veil would be on the heavy side - kinda like a polyester veil. I'm more of a floaty person - I like lighter Chiffons, Silk (of course), and surprisingly, Organza. I was gratified to find out that Ma*Shuqa also likes Organza - I think its the best kept secret in veil fabrics.
But I'm always wanting to try something new!
